VH1's Love and Hip-Hip New York Reality Star Sentenced to 97 Months in Prison
Today a federal judge in Rochester, New York sentenced VH1's 'Love and Hip-Hop New York' reality star, Mendeecees Harris (who is of African American and Panamanian descent), to 97 months (8 years and 1 month) in federal prison, reports the Deomcrat & Chronicle.
Back in April, Harris plead guilty to his role in a drug trafficking operation that between 2005 and 2012, shipped cocaine and heroine to the Rochester region. Harris' plea called for a sentence of 8 to 10 years.
Harris has been free under a bail agreement in which all his earnings from the show and public appearances be surrendered to the federal government.
Earlier this year Harris married Yandy Smith. The couple has two children – a son Amir, and a daughter, Skylar. Harris also has two sons from previous relationships.
All we can say is, DAMN!
