'The Real' Co-Host Adrienne Bailon Shuts Down The Bochinche Surrounding Her Relationship Wit

The Real co-host Adrienne Bailon is finally responding to all of the chisme surrounding her relationship with gospel artist Israel Houghton. More inside...

Today on The Real, co-host Adrienne Bailon speaks out for the first time about all of the bochinche surrounding her new romantic relationship with gospel artist Israel Houghton.

Last month Bailon, 32, set the rumor mill in motion when she was spotted on a romantic vacation with Houghton at the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa in Tulum.

This had everyone talking because one month prior, Houghton went public on his official Facebook page about the dissolution of his 22-year marriage to Meleasa Houghton. He also admitted that he cheated on Meleasa five years ago.

Many labeled Bailon a homewrecker because she has known Houghton for a few years, and also recently ended her engagement to Roc Nation executive Lenny Santiago.

According to Adrienne, this is not the case and everyone should stop with the bochinche. "I think I'm more than anything grateful that I have a platform like this, where I can be with my girls. The show is called The Real [and] it is a place where we can speak about the truth," Bailon explains during today's episode. "With that being said, the man pictured here is not married. Praise God."

Bailon continued, "He had actually put out a statement. He is single, number one. The other thing people were saying was that I was the cause of the divorce, which I think any divorce is obviously a sad thing. People have to go through it, [it] takes time to get through that sort of thing, and I think no one put that time together. I think people see an announcement was made at the top of the year and then they see these photos and then they think well let's put this together but this is why I'm grateful for things like this because it allows you to set the facts straight and God forbid the facts get in the way of a really juicy story. I'm going to say the truth and the truth of the matter is he isn't married. He obviously is divorced."

Before moving on to another subject, Bailon ended with, "He had put out a statement saying that he had failed in his marriage and it was about five years back. I didn’t know him at that time, so to put that blame on me was obviously hurtful."

The Latina singer and actress also shared that her ex-fiancé Lenny actually called to check on her in the midst of all of the bochinche.

Is it us or does it seem like Bailon has a type? Lenny and Israel look quite similar.

Well there you have it folks!
