Afro-Latina Singer and Actress Christina Milian Joins Fox’s ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ TV Remak
Afro-Latina singer and actress Christina Milian has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming TV remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Check out the details inside...
According to E!, Milian is set to play Magenta, the submissive servant to Frank-N-Furter, a sexually motivated, frisky alien mad scientist (played by Laverne Cox). Patricia Quinn played Magenta in the original 1975 movie.
In the storyline, Magenta and her brother Riff Raff (played by Reeve Carney) devise a secret plan to return to Transsexual, their native planet.
The cast also includes Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss, Ryan McCartan as Brad Majors, Adam Lambert as Eddie, Staz Nair as Rocky Horror, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia, and Tim Curry as the Criminologist Narrator. Tim Curry played Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the original 1975 movie.
Shooting is set to begin in Toronto in March. The remake is set to air on Fox this fall.
Milian is one busy Afro-Latina. She can be seen on Fox’s sitcom Grandfathered, her E! reality series Christina Milian Turned Up, and as the recurring voice of Esther on Fox’s Family Guy.
